“What if they don’t know you died?! And if they find out you’re here but were trying to keep away from them-!” Gokudera shakes his head.
“I’m not gonna walk up and go ‘hey did you know your dead pal Shinjiro is alive in this weird place?’ That’s fucked up!” He objects to keeping quiet. He won’t tell anyone outright about this guy being dead back home.
“It’s not my place to share something like that, but if I could see a friend here… that back home was gone… I don’t think I could ever forgive them for keeping away.” This really shouldn’t be something he should butt in on, but knowing that in that future he was put in, his boss was dead. It sucked to accept that, but it made him value his time with Tsuna that much more. Made him fight to protect their future that much harder.
