Okay, so. The goddess of the earth Gaea was trying to wake up and destroy everything. Because the two camps found out about each other, the gods were all screwy in the head, because we have the same gods, just in different aspects? So, like, my dad is Hephaestus, but they call him Vulcan at the other camp. Slight differences, but it was basically causing all the gods to have multiple personalities fighting for control. Instead of trying to broker peace, Octavian blamed my camp and thought if they killed all of us, then the gods would heal and be able to stop Gaea from waking up. It...didn't help that I got possessed by this evil spirit and accidentally attacked their camp, too.
