The cats have been pretty good about things lately.

[Fortunately, they have plenty of things for the kittens to do and places for them to perch that they don't bother the birds. Mirabelle has been good at keeping an eye on them as well, so she doesn't foresee any problems with them.

Speaking of, Flutter hops up onto the counter where she placed the flowers and sniffs at them, her tiny whiskers twitching, and one of her butterflies flies about them, landing on the starflowers that have bloomed among the rest.
