Gen's smile shifted - a subtle thing - but it was no longer quite so charismatic and polished. It was startled, delighted ... genuine.

"My dear friend Senku is here too?" Gen clapped his hands together, bounced just once on the balls of his feet. "Ah, this is the best sort of dream. I'm so pleased that you've met him, you know. His eyes twinkled. "In fact, this is the best place for him. He works far too hard - it's a brilliant trap to make him take a vacation."
