This is what I have been observing and seeing recently: if we show any of the enemies or the Story Eater even a slight showing of fear or any other negative emotion, they’ll try to exploit it against you. It wants you to be scared so it can grow stronger in power.

We all have to put a brave face even if we are scared because, trust me, it will be harder to defeat the Story Eater when we let our fears to emotionally have a hold on all of us. Being brave doesn’t mean ignoring the fear entirely, but rather facing any tough situation head on even when you’re scared.

And if we don’t have any control of our emotions, then things can get even worse. By letting our emotions to get the best of us, everything we have worked hard to get this world to where it is now will be gone forever. And we don’t want it to be destroyed for this is home for all of us for a good amount of time, short and long alike.
