[Oh, Ken. Zhongli recognizes that desire, that drive. It's an ambition that burns strong and pure, like a beacon. To be so young and strive for such a simple wish, a desire to help others. Were he in Teyvat, Zhongli has no doubt the young man would certainly have a Vision. But he was granted a power all of his own, wasn't he? For Zhongli, that's proof enough for him, even if Ken can't see it himself.]

Failure is, unfortunately, a reality that all of us must face. I myself have faced countless failures in my lifetime, believe it or not.

[He says it with the faintest hint of amusement, but in his mind's eye he can see moments where he failed quite clearly; when fellow gods were slain, when he couldn't save his allies, when he was unable to stave off the Erosion that was affecting a dear friend... and those were just the ones he could think of. He shakes his head, moving to rest a hand on Ken's shoulder.]

You will fail many times in your life, young man. But it matters not how many times you fail. What truly matters is your ability to recover from failure, and to keep forging on in spite of it. Try to view failure as an opportunity for growth, if you can. A stone may fracture under pressure, but in doing so, you may uncover a beautiful geode layer beneath.
