In moments, he climbs to his feet, grasping her neck in one hand as if she were as light as a ragdoll, carrying her toward the filthy, murky river.
And, with a disturbingly gentle "Shhhhhhh, shhhhhhh", he shoves her limp, barely-conscious form to the ground, thrusting her face roughly beneath the water.]
