Alastor turned his head around to face forward even as his body and Madhuri continued facing their pursuer. His night vision was pretty decent considering he worked with shadows but this darkness was far, far too dark.

A curve emerged out of the darkness before them. Alastor leaned them into the turn, gritting his fangs as one set of wheels briefly left the tracks. They banged back onto the tracks with a barrage of sparks.
