Her, "Oh?" in response to his initial words was soft, sympathetic, accompanied by the faintest crumple of her brow as she considered the notion. Perhaps it would be harder for someone who had lived longer to acclimate to a new setting - although of course it begged a few questions that rose to the tip of her tongue. Only to get waylaid, that was, at the mention of another party involved--

"Your nephew?" Well, that implied obviously enough another curiosity about this friendly fellow. "Is... some of your family here with you, then? I know it's not unusual for people to come here from the same world, but not very many of us seem to be related to each other that way."
