Reaper noted the reaction of the dragon, even pausing in discharging his weapons to see if the kid would actually take control back. That was the point of this exercise after all. However, it was a short-lived moment and the dragon came at him.

He moved to dodge from being crushed, but he took partial slamming before he disintegrated to smoke. He reformed a few meters later, shaking off the instant bruising and crush damage. It's fine. He'd had worse.
