[Flying may be Revali's preferred way to get around, and he would be very hard-pressed to find any real negatives for it, he can begrudgingly admit that, in some cases, walking on the ground like most other beings here is easiest. Taking off and landing and getting where he needs to be is just too difficult with such limited space and so many people around. Too much wind, too many disruptions, and asshole though he may be, even Revali doesn't want to deal with any cleanup or shouting from ruined storefronts or decorations.
But wind and disruption might be just what's needed, not that he sees it that way in the moment. His head snaps in the direction of Zelda's voice--what is it with blonde Hylians causing so much trouble--but rather than following her advice, he spreads his wings, taking to the air with a strong burst of wind blowing anyone and anything nearby. Better to have a messed up storefront than get hit with an out of control broomstick, he thinks.]
Leave flight to those who know what they're doing.
[But, all the same, he sticks around, flapping slowly mid-air to see what happens while the wind settles.]
