It's one reason why he feels compelled to keep his usually silly remarks in check and allow her this moment. ...aside from the fact that he too is enjoying the quiet warmth that their closeness brings. It's been so long since he's been able to get a tender arm around her without fear of retribution, rightly deserved though it was. This is... nice.
