[ "You were friends," he says, the words serious and soft despite that. She wonders if he's as quiet as Skyloft's Link, and supposes it makes sense. Even so... their voices are similar, but they stand differently, carry themselves differently. He is not the same boy she knew in the Sky, a fact that makes Zelda feel only slightly more lonely; the spirit comes back to her, but it isn't her's. This Link, kind and perhaps even patient as he has been, has a wiry kind of energy, as if he's been holding it in era after era. Perhaps he has.

She smiles, and nods, wider and more friendly than before, to confirm his words. Yes, best friends, even. A prickle of upset needles it's way into her belly, the memory of Hylia writing their story for them to suit Her needs still fresh in her mind.

But never mind such things. He isn't ready for that. She won't force him to be. ]

Demise and Hylia's war had repercussions. [ That much is true. She remembers making it, the barrier. The recollection is imprinted on her soul, stamped there for this life and the next. ] One of them was that She had to protect Her people by any cost, so She raised a temple into the sky. Are you picturing a ceiling? [ Zelda looks back at him over her shoulder, blinking gaze curious and playful. Then, she turns to keep walking, the portal not too far at all. ] It's more like a bubble that eventually burst. The islands fell upon the land below...

[ She wonders if he's seen them, if they stood the test of time. ]

In fact, it was the hero who made that happen. Link always works things out.
