(It is not everyday that you have bugs running the town amok and they don’t seem to listen to you despite trying to talk some sense onto them. Anya feels essentially that way when she spent much of the morning shooing ladybugs trying to make her home theirs and harassing Pooka for looking shabby in their eyes. Excuse her, Pooka’s bangs are a part of his charm, prissy ladybugs.
As she is walking by, trying to forget the ladybug incident, Anya could hear a mix of pleasant music, the clinging of tea china, loud squabbles on style, and roaring thunder over head. It doesn’t take long for her to realize that Eustace is in trouble and that he is trying to fend the bugs off too.
So she runs towards his house to see what the fuss is about and jump in to lend a hand if needed, Pooka and Mashka are trailing behind her as fast as they can.)
