Ienzo blushed fiercely, caught off guard by the compliment and the smile both. He tried to hide it by ducking his head to the side, letting his bangs hide his face. It’s too bad it’s an obvious tell.

“Well, it’s … something you only would’ve seen, if I was fighting you, before. So,” Ienzo trailed off awkwardly, before beginning again. “I’m … trying to be … more willing to use what I have. After our talk. Because of what you said.”

Ienzo cleared his throat. “We should get moving. I’m not certain this effect will last for long.”
