[a) Helping outside. Given his strength in ice dreamotion, not to mention his own natural affinity to the cold, Eustace can venture out and help those in need. He'll use dreamotion to move the snow and ice around, creating clear paths for others to walk through as well as remove any that may be blocking entrances. And if anyone is trapped, he'll dig them out and get them to safety. He is especially concerned about the animals, checking for any that may be trapped or need better warmth.
The Starflower Cafe and Sanctuary is available to help house found animals! And to provide some shelter and warm refreshments for those who may need it.
Otherwise, he'll help deliver cores and heaters, knocking on doors.]
Here. Take these if you need it. We don't know how long this will last, so better not risk it.
[b) Ice Elementals. He may not have fire, but he can use ice to create strong ice walls to help defend and block some of those attacks. And from the cover of these walls, he'll use Flamek and his lightning dreamotion to shoot concentrated bolts of lightning at the elementals, hoping to pierce or chip away their structure as he aims for their knees and hands. He'll also cast large bolts to strike down from the sky to try and keep the ice elementals from from marching too much closer.]
⊗ ii. candyland
[Eustace will be a silver gray unicorn and his horn will be a little jagged, similar to a lightning bolt. His mane and tail will be thick and fluffy, while also shimmering like snow. He even leaves a trail of sparkling snowflakes, as if to reflect his dominance in ice and lightning elements. Regardless, he's not happy about this. At all. And should anyone try to hop on his back without permission, well. Prepare for a wild ride as he will rear and buck around before flat out rolling to get them off.
a) Pick a square, any square. Open to any rolls! But since that's kind of useless as a prompt, here are a couple to start with (feel free to modify or discard these if you have something else in mind!):
🟥 Eustace will be very keen in either blasting lightning, stabbing with his horn, or kick with his hooves. 🟨 Ugh, and the first thing he happens to accidentally touch is...some sticky candy that happened to be right behind him so it's on his haunches or tail. Why. 🟦 This jar looks very ominous... Since he has hooves, he'll just ask whoever is with him to pick out five for each of them.
Bonus Liopleurodon is welcomed!
b) Special locations. Similar to the squares, open to any, but for the items gained he will need to go to:
🌳 Gingerbread Plum Trees. Collecting these plums shouldn't be so difficult, what with a horn helping. Except—]
Dammit.
[It can also cause problems when he accidentally spears a plum and instead of cutting it from the branch it's now stuck on his horn.
🍭 Lollipop Woods. How he's going to use the want or where he's putting all this stuff don't question, focus on the lost princess. Which is a bit hard when suddenly there are three swirling lollipops going down different paths for them to choose.]
...We may have to pick one and see where it takes us. Better to mark as we go just in case we have to backtrack.
⊗ iii. frozen mountain
[Should he come across anyone that needs thawing, he'll have some plums that he can give that will help those who need some thawing. He also has the lollipop wands to help get by troublesome foes.
a) Five-horned mountain goats. While Eustace will not shy away from fighting anything he comes across, he will find himself having some...trouble.]
Oy. I'm not interested.
[There is a mountain goat that is sticking to him with visible heart eyes and floating hearts around it. And despite kicking it a few times to knock it away, that only made the goat come after him harder!? So one may find Eustace running through the corridors while chased after a bleating lovestruck goat. He's married, dammit!!!!
b) Mirrors and the queen. Well he'll be happy to take some time to break these mirrors. If he already hadn't experienced almost an entire year of such feelings he might have succumbed to it, but his heart and mind are stronger, allowing him to shake off the reflections and instead just stab his horn right into the mirrors before following with a swift, strong kick. So if anyone needs a sudden rescue, that's one way—though he may not be as adept in the coaxing.
And once it comes to the queen, using the magic from his horn he'll fling the lollipop wands he conjures to those who can better use them.]
Here—use them to get to her!
