He makes a note to come back once the weather settles to enjoy the atmosphere for what it is—along with the winged cats and friendly dogs indoors.]

[He sighs. Not because of the work ahead—he’s sure he’ll enjoy it—but at yet another reminder of how the intensity of this storm has caused more than just the occasional minor inconvenience.]

[Joshua eyes the snowy mound, walking to and fro as he considers the best place to start. They just need enough room to make it to the pond, so that’s where he’ll start.]

I’ll start from the bottom. It’s cold enough that any water I create should freeze into an ice layer capable of supporting a tunnel.
