The place has definitely been trying to fit him up for a role, though he's not entirely sure what it is. The green clothing, the tights - the stupid hat with the feather. He still has odd steps thanks to the tights.
He might be feeling a bit strange to not have his abilities, but part of that is...actually sort of liberating. For now, at least, he can be Aang and not the Avatar. Well, as much as he can be in all green, with a bow and arrow and quiver on his back, and a sword - which he has discovered he knows full well how to use, somehow.
And unfortunately, in the forest, he's almost on top of her when he actually sees her.
