Meanwhile Anya gets to hide behind one sturdy bush from where she can observe the cat spirit and see if it’ll fall for the trap she and Iris have set up for it. With the marbles on the ground, it is time to wait for their target and try to catch it.

It did took some time for them to find their cat spirit, but eventually the cat bell ringing is heard which means the cat spirit has arrived at the area. Anya watches from her hiding place as she sees it trying to pick up one of the marble piles Iris had placed earlier.

As much as she wishes that she could come over and pounce on the nekomata (no pun intended), she too wait a little longer to see if the marbles can keep the nekomata preoccupied for longer.
