[Thankfully Ferran doesn't lose his grip just from incredulity when he sees Clive start to climb. This is the solution!? He's still gaping a little when they're close enough, but a noise from the stone gets him to hurry and focus on actually doing as the guy says... just in case a brick decides to come loose on this ancient-looking wall.
It's a bit awkward and far too close to panicked for Ferran's liking due to his unsteady grip on the uneven stones, but he manages to get his arms around Clive's neck without choking him, somehow. He's got enough strength and stamina to not let go anytime soon, at least.
Faintly, he wishes he was the one in armor again, as bad as the nightmarish time he had it was. At least at that point he had healing that didn't involve forcing himself to cry. Stupid fairy tales...
He decides to dig for information to distract himself from his internal griping.]
So you've got grip strength better than I do. Is anything else special hiding up your sleeve?
