It wasn't easy for her to turn off her real world author brain, especially since disguises came up in her stories about Sholmes fairly often. "His princely handsomeness was masked into a rather average-looking, everyday commoner. This was to ensure that only his true love would fall in love with him.

"So the unrecognizable prince set off on his horse out into the kingdom. He found that even without restrictions, it was difficult to find the woman he would love. The daughters of noble families were too superficial, and the poor ladies had too much work to do to want to pay attention to such an unremarkable man for very long."
