And fire, when one doesn't know how to handle it, can be dangerous. Even to the one who created it. But one small flame is vulnerable too. Many might not see its worth and fear it. And even if they don't, it could consume the stick, it could be destroyed with a single strong gust of wind. Rain can put it out."
"But if that flame is protected, and treated with respect - understood for what it is, the good and the bad - it can light your way on a dark night, and provide some warmth on a cold one. And when others learn the value of that flame and bring their own sticks... many can do things one alone could not even imagine. With many people coming to nurture and care for the flame, new ways to be safe while handling it can be discovered, learned, and shared. As well as new uses. Like cooking food so one is no longer ill from what they eat. Or warming a whole house, pr providing light so that one can work well after the sun has set."
