Normally, I might ask for something in return, but given the fact I'm the one who offered, it seems unfair to ask for something when it was my suggestion in the first place. And besides, like I said, it won't be permanent.

I don't need anything, not unless you happen to have any other information you'd like to share with me. But regardless, it's your choice. It's wise not to trust people you've only just met, but I find maintaining a web of lies to be exhausting.
