He looks like he's working very hard to maintain his composure, which, considering how the knowledge of the Light Dragon must be hurting him, is nothing short of incredible. He would be well within his rights to be angry-- at the unfairness of her fate, at her for not fighting harder against it. It is unfair and she should fight harder to change it!
And she did begin to try. After dreamwalking with Link to see the creature she will one day become, Zelda conjured it in her own dreams and tried to learn how to control it. Because surely, if she can learn to control it here, then she can take that knowledge back to Hyrule with her. Perhaps she could carry some measure of herself into her next life as the Light Dragon.
But then Link awoke. And the princess has been struggling to find her will to fight ever since.
Zelda is grateful when Satan changes the subject. She doesn't want to talk about the Light Dragon anymore. She's hurt him enough tonight.
She nods in affirmation. Yes, she was looking at his tail. And she's been watching his eyes too, the strange way the sunset doesn't catch on them. They're so dark. Still green, but... different, somehow, from what she's used to. ]
Is it dangerous? [ Zelda's gaze goes back over his shoulder again. There's no denying the curiosity in her visage, tired though she is from this emotional evening, but she at least stays where she is and doesn't immediately try to touch it. ]
