[Sure, it annoyed her a little that Jude hadn't bothered to mention posting to the dream board at all. Not that she's annoyed that he needs help, and a lot of help from others, she's fine with that! It's just that he didn't bother to come to her personally to ask for her help, too- she had to find out about it on the dream board.
He did mention something about needing things, and she's gone over to his place, completely uninvited numerous times, and seen he's got a whole mess of stuff going on...
Point is that he had every opportunity to mention any of this and he didn't. And it's probably for some obnoxious reason or another, like that he doesn't want her to charge in and get hurt, or that she'd try to go off alone or something.
Which she did.
Not entirely by choice, but the only person she could ask that she knows who is skilled in combat is busy. So. Here she is, exploring the outer cliffs. Partially out of spite.
Doesn't seem bad so far, a little eerie with the wastelands looming nearby and the monsters of this area fighting in the distance; there's a sort of thickness in the air that she's doesn't like. But she's totally got this. Just got to find something imbued with nightmare energy and she's done. She's beyond determined to see this through, especially so she can stick it to Jude later.
Unfortunately, as it turns out, rushing into things isn't always the best idea. It's a thought that briefly crosses her mind when she sees something shadowy and fast rush past her peripheral. Noctaere shouldn't be in this area, though? Or so she'd heard. But...
She's got a grip on her staff already, turning in the direction the shadowy figure ran. Could be someone playing a prank? Hopefully.]
Who's there?
[Leia can sense that something is there.
And she doesn't have to wait long to find out before that something is charging at her. Reflexes kicking in, she whips out her staff, snapping it to full length, and quickly blocks the oncoming attack.
She's now face to face with a noctaere. Lovely.]
So much for a quick field trip. Man, I'm never gonna hear the end of this--!
[It pushes her back with force, her shoes skidding across the ground, then charges again and swipes its claws at her side. She swings her staff, knocking the claw away.
In the distance, one could easily hear the ensuing battle echoing throughout the cliffs.]
