open!

Who: Ramuda Amemura and you!
Which: Open Log + Fairy Cow Quest
Where: Residential area + farmlands
What: Treehouse shenanigans
Warnings: n/a, will update as needed

i. bedding.
[ The markets are pretty barren, but it's good that basic necessities are covered. Those necessities include things like bedding, which Ramuda is realizing he and his posse really, really need. Sleeping on wood is extremely uncomfortable; it makes him miss his good ol' couch back at home. It's why anyone can catch Ramuda lugging a giant mattress around, pulling it behind him and letting it drag on the ground as he walks from the markets to the treehouse area.

At some point, he stops midway and drops the mattress, puts his hands on his knees and sighs:
]

Ugh... I'm soooo tired...

[ When he gets going again, he'll make it all the way to the bottom of the treehouse area without issue. The real problem is getting this thing all the way up to where he's staying. Maybe living in a tree was actually a mistake.

Anyway, he's looking up at the trees and grumbles again, shoulders slumping.
]

Awww! How am I supposed to do this...!

[ Help...might be appreciated. There is an easy way up -- spiral stairs, it looks like -- that doesn't involve climbing a tree, but the mattress is still pretty large... ]

ii. the saw.
[ Ramuda may be 24, but he certainly has the appearance of a young boy. With that in mind, it may look a little...strange -- disturbing, maybe? -- to some people that this "young boy" is holding a saw.

He once again finds himself at the bottom of his tree, and he leans the saw up against the trunk, taps his index finger against his chin. He's pouting, but it's a contemplative look this time instead of one that's disgruntled, and when someone passes by, he looks over at them and gives them a wave.
]

Hiya! Can I ask you something?

[ And without waiting for an actual answer, he points to the saw. ]

What's the best way to cut through a roof with this?

iii. hypnosis moo-crophone.
[ Ramuda's not really a fan of hard work, but he's also concerned about his posse's food supply. The gallon of flavored milk sounds like something they'd like, so he decides to run off and try the quest. Hopefully the cows are cute --

and they sure are. When he arrives at the farm, he makes heart eyes at the first fairy cow to cross his path: One that's got little strawberries on its hide. And when he's tasked to feed them, he naturally takes a strawberry-flavored treat and goes for the strawberry cow.

There are one or two other cows that seem to notice him and start to walk in his direction behind him, but Ramuda seems set on this one in particular. The strawberry cow continues to ignore him, though, and turns away when he tries to offer it the treat.
]

Ehh? You don't like this one? Hmm, hmm! What do you like, then?

[ He turns to the nearest person who's also taking on this quest and asks: ]

Hey! Do you know what kind of food this one likes?

wildcard.
[ Hit me up with anything, I'm available in the discord/over PM/ [plurk.com profile] amplitude to plot! ]

[He turns. And lightly, easily- the same self-satisfied smirk on his face- he feigns his own laugh. His is gentler, more playful. But it's equally insincere.]

M~hm, likewise. Except I took you to be much older.

[More unhinged, more bitter looking, too. In truth, Ramuda's somewhat cute looking. But there's no escaping the look in his eyes, the vague suggestion of something ugly in his tone.]

I'm not apologising, by the way. Just so you know.

[Is that so. That saves them some time, and honestly? Not going through the motions with something as boring as outrage is something he can appreciate. Instead, he can appreciate what's interesting. That bitterness, for instance.]

Sure do. And you're going to do something about it?

[He steps forward, raising his hand to twist, lightly, at an asymmetrical lock of his hair.]

Of course, it's not like I get why you went off like that. You're kind of weird, mister.
