He simply keeps his eyes on Ferran, lifting the necklace off of the young man's chest to examine the fractures in the red gem. Airily, he replies:]

[He lets out a thoughtful hum as he gently pulls the necklace past Ferran's head so he can take it away entirely. Ferran's hand twitches briefly as it leaves his person.] He's not yet useless... he'll simply require more rest. But I will have to keep a closer eye on the progression.
