[It all happens in such a blur. One second, she's standing in the kitchen next to her mother, writing out "happy birthday" in icing and the next, she's outside at the town's gates, there to greet the soldiers that have only just arrived. Although she looks far from prepared, and rather than all of her focus being on the men in front of her—Sephiroth, the great war hero of all people—her eyes flit around, searching instead for any sign of Eustace.
She feels uneasy... There's still something very off about this that she can't put her finger on, but there's a sense of dread that pricks at the back of her neck and leaves her with a bad taste in her mouth.
Still, she stands straight and welcomes them in, still looking over her shoulder as she follows behind them to Shinra manor in the back of the town. Eustace, where are you?
... Why is she even worried about him in the first place? He's fine. He probably went home to get his parents and siblings to bring them over, but at least mom was there to take care of them until she got back from their tour.
Whenever he does return, he'll see Tifa standing between Sephiroth and another man, this one friendlier looking with spiky black hair, as their photo is taken just outside of the manor. And when she sees him, Tifa waves him over.]
