[He only watches her, seeing her expression changes and blanks. He can tell his words had an effect on her, his message carried with little to no misunderstanding. He doesn't know much else what she's thinking beyond that, but he does feel a little bit of satisfaction by it.

So he just remains silent, not saying anything accept for a quiet sound of agreement as he just holds out his plate to her before he stands to take care of the dogs.]
