The foxes around him start sniffing his legs and outstretched hands, one even putting its forepaws up on his knee to try and get a closer look at him. As they do, he takes the chance to lightly poke one of the mushrooms and is a little surprised when it falls off so easily. But the fox doesn't seem to mind and even shakes its body, causing more of them to fall. As it does, a smaller rodent like creature with a flower tail suddenly appears to take the mushroom and run off.
