Candy corn aside for the moment, his attention goes straight to the vials, though he doesn't touch them yet.]

Looks like she got interrupted experimenting on something. [He bends down, eying the vials closely. They look familiar to him, and it only takes him a moment to click onto why.]

Aren't these the potions that were appearing in the city? And these vials look like they're testing effectiveness on what the potions helped clear up, too.
