[ Once he was confident that his own recovery was going well, Trahearne took it upon himself to check in all those involved and affected by Eustace's noctaere incident. He is in no way responsible for these people personally, no, but he finds himself doing this out of guilt--it comes from a place, he recognizes, that wants to make up for not being able to check in on Phantom after his turning many moons ago. More people were involved this time.
Though he's only seen Susato a handful of times, and part of him wonders if this isn't a little overbearing of him to do so, there is an extra reason he feels he needs to check in on her.
The homey atmosphere of the Wild Harvest immediately soothes his worries. When he doesn't find her in the building itself, he rounds out to the garden in search for her.
When he does find her she is stooped among the stars. She's clearly busy, and so he waits until he senses she's finished to speak up. ]
