I did pay visit to a local merchant with books shortly after I arrived and I did read a bit on various histories. Whatever reading material there really was available at the time. I suppose it has been a while since I have looked into such things, however. I could use some new reading material. Even if I do not find something from Gaia, it is likely I will experience the same as you have—something similar enough.
