If there was, no one told me.
[If there was, would he have done things any differently? Killing Kainé was never an option. Surely, there's a version of him somewhere, out there, in some other existence who did do it that way. Nier doubts he could have lived properly with himself if he had. And he doesn't know how he would have explained that to anyone else either.
