"If it really is a hoax, it's not a very good one," says Satan with a shrug. "I say that as someone who is known to partake in pranks and hoaxes from time to time."

He leaves out the part where the complexity of his pranks ranges somewhere around the same level as a human aged 6-12.

"Like I said, the most it would do is rile people up, but only for a short while. Most individuals have a short attention span, after all. But, now that I'm thinking on it, I'll be annoyed if I start looking into this, only to find that it was a prank all along."
