When he is close enough, he hears the crackle of the fire atop the structure as he makes his way up, careful not to lose his balance on the exposed staircase by the side of the building. And once he makes it to the top, he douses the flame in his hand, not even bothering to mask the scuffle of his footsteps as he closes the distance to Trahearne.
