[ now, if this isn't an interesting turn of events!

kaeya doesn't mind the chilly weather, but it's makes little gatherings like this all the warmer. as a decently well-read individual, kaeya has heard of hotpot before - it's an inazuman tradition - but he's never partaken, himself. he's a little wary to try some of the dishes himself, in the case that someone may or may not have thrown something unappetizing in (spiders albedo), so he grabs himself only a small portion.

.. but he sure has had a lot of wine. kaeya's cheeks are nice and rosy, his star-shaped pupil dilated, his smile lazy as he leans one cheek onto his curled hand, the other swirling a glass of wine, that he's chilled to the optimal temperature. he's certainly not black-out drunk, but he is absolutely enjoying himself and feeling no pain at the moment. with an easy chuckle, kaeya takes another sip and glances to whoever is sitting beside him.

.. unless it's a kid. he's not going to offer alcohol to children!! ]

Care to indulge with me?

[ it's not the first time that kaeya has ridden a dragon, but that doesn't make the experience any less exciting. it's dragon riding! that sort of thing never gets old, right?

anyway, for lack of anything better to do with himself, and to shake off his mild hangover, kaeya has decided to get some fresh air - very fresh air - on the back of a dragon, to hunt for armadillo bears, or some such. ah, it almost feels like being a young knight again, being tasked with such frivolous things as hunting down some angry pests. kaeya doesn't mind. it gives him something to do with his hands, and his time, even though he'd say he'd rather be relaxing. in truth, kaeya prefers to keep busy when he can, though he certainly makes plenty of time for less.. strenuous activity.

the wind in his hair feels good. he's reminded of home. ]

Ah, there!

[ slowing the dragon he's riding, kaeya turns to glance over his shoulder toward his partner in bear-hunting, who rides in the saddle behind him. ]

I believe I've spotted our mark.

[ now, this is certainly what he can call good, healthy relaxation. kaeya can hardly remember the last time he indulged in something like this. mondstadt is well known for many things, but hotsprings are not one of them - communal bathhouses are the closest one might get to something like this.

but a bathhouse absolutely cannot compare to this.

yes, he is absolutely buck naked, this is a man without shame, though curiously, he still wears his eyepatch. kaeya sinks into the waters and leans back against the stone with a heavy, long sigh. on the rock beside his elbow sits a plate piled with cubed dragonfruit, as well as.. you guessed it, a bottle of sparkling white wine. never let it be said that this man does not know how to enjoy himself. ]

Now, if this isn't the ideal way to relax after a bit of bear hunting, I don't know what is.
