The most vivid imagery is the desolate buildings and massive damage. Everything was charred with damage and destruction. It looked like the end of the world had reared its ugly head in the dream. She can't help but feel even more perplexed as his strides became longer.

Mayhap, the far future or an advanced civilization that she's never seen before. She doesn't get time to process that imagery before the sound behind her cautiously draws her attention.
