"I guess we got showed up at the perfect time, then. Too late to deal with the actual culprit and too early for the mess to get worse. At least the vegetables and stuff weren't messed up too much. I think they're basically okay to use now."

Putting the now usable vegetables aside for now, she picks up a nearby broom and gets to work on the floors, sweeping up dirt, pieces of shattered dinnerware and other bits of whatnot.

"Oh, watch out. Some of the cups and bowls got all smashed up, too..."
