[ Marui's heart is racing, mostly from the surprise dunk they just took. Mostly. Leia scoots off him quickly, her face looking red as a tomato and who can blame her? That was definitely not a prize-winning moment for athletic prowess. Watching her sit there, though, drenched and stammering and apologizing, it's hard to be annoyed.
In fact, as the sheer ridiculousness of it all comes into sharp relief, Marui finds himself starting to laugh. Sure, he's wet and cold and that was an incredibly uncool (and slightly awkward) moment. But he wasn't the one who tripped, so it's easier for him not to be embarrassed. ]
What was that? [ He asks through a grin, and pushes himself up to his feet. His hair, jersey and shorts cling tight to his skin and yikes it's even colder now that he's out of the water! But nothing to be done about any of that. It's not like he has a towel, much less a change of clothes (though he does have a dry jacket he's saving for after he's done). He offers her his hand to pull her up, keeping his eyes very deliberately on her face. ]
