[ Her shoulders jump slightly, one side of her face scrunching subtly more than the other as he reaches for her hair, but she stills enough for him to remove the popcorn without incident. Quietly, she murmurs a mildly surprised, 'oh, thank you,' that probably means she had no idea the kernel was stuck there.

As they reach the bench, Naminé slows to a stop a step early, trying to process the compliment. Eyes a fraction wider, she watches Sora sit before remembering herself. Shifting forward to settle far more delicately next to him, the girl smiles with faintly colored cheeks as she hooks her ankles together and settles her plate neatly on her lap. ]


That's not exactly the word I'd use, but... if you think so, then I suppose it's not so bad.

[ Carefully unwrapping a candy, she sends him a sidelong look that drifts upward before she confesses, only a smidgeon belatedly, ]

I like your ears, too. They look very soft.

[ As she's munching on her first piece of chocolate, Naminé's focus on the experience wavers immediately - despite how interesting it is to her - the second she hears that inquiry. There's a momentary pause as she uses the excuse of her mouth being occupied not to answer right away, and when she does, a certain hesitation lurks in her expression that she tries not to let be too obvious. ]

Sure. It's... pretty strange, not to feel quite like myself. I've definitely never been part animal before. But, um-- [ Debating internally, Naminé finally elects to admit, ] It's not actually the first time my body's been changed by something. Only, last time was much more...

[ Dangerous? Frightening? Quieter, ]

It was a different experience altogether.
