The temptation to drop everything and put some distance between her and the bats is real, but once the initial shock wears off, she is able to keep her cool, at least well enough. Van Zieks may feel a brief moment of shaking though before she gets a handle on it: when they swoop down, she finds herself clinging more closely to the ladder, making a very girly and surprised noise coming from her mouth. ]
