Attention everyone. A family of stray...fairy flower dogs were found by the Riverbank and have been brought back to the Residential area to be taken care of. A mother and four pups.
[There is a small image imprinted of how the dogs look like.]
This is not a message seeking for adoption—we do not know as of yet if we are permanent "residents" of this world or if we'll "wake up" and leave it one day without warning. Knowing that, it would be irresponsible to take in a pet without any plans as to what will happen should it find itself ownerless. It's also unknown if these are truly domesticated or if they will return to the forests once they are older. They are docile, but for all intents and purposes they are wild, independent creatures.
That said it would be in their best interest if anyone with any knowledge in animals to take a look into their health as they are currently malnourished. I plan on sharing responsibility in caring for them, but if anyone else wishes to do so and can be responsible for them, then they can be taken in. Ultimately it will be up to the dogs, however it may be better to consider them as "communal" dogs rather than anyone's specifically. Those who are interested in helping may do so and sign a notebook to help keep a log. Those who don't can just ignore them.
I have set up a temporary place of living for them near one of the unclaimed treehouses in an unoccupied area and will be tending to them with Nanako Dojima. If you are interested in seeing them or have any questions, either meet me there or send a message here.
Should any harm come to the dogs, be prepared to face repercussions tenfold.

[Insert a rather straightforward drawing of a map indicating the dogs' location.]
[This is an open log that anyone can start their own threads and mingle around with the pups! No real official prompts, but here are a few things that can be done:]
1. Personalities. The mother is very docile, sweet, and will gladly let anyone take care of her pups because momma needs a break. However, she will go savage on anyone who harms them so. Don't make her appear more like a demon dog with rose thorn whips or something. As for the pups, there are two females and two males. One female is the "alpha" of the group, taking names and taking charge as she just gets into everything. She fears nothing. The next oldest is a male and while a bit more mild mannered, he is very protective and will nip anyone who hurts those they like. Kind of has a hero complex and for some reason favors females. The third is a male who is very, very timid and scared of everything. Music and anyone with calm dispositions will help calm and soothe him. The fourth is a female who is the sweetest, most adorable little girl who just likes to have attention and will respond to commands and wishes very well. Loves to give kisses and will happily play with anyone.
2. Flowers. The flowers on the dogs are a bit random and seem to change by the day, so players are free to have them be whatever they want for their threads. The flowers can also be safely removed, but don't tug too hard as it is part of their coat. But if they are ever threatened or in danger, sharp thorns will start to appear, and the flowers may become more like snapping fly traps that will hurt. Only the mother is capable of creating vine whips.
3. Bathing. Those pups need a bath. Lots of baths. They may have been washed off once, but then their off romping around mud, dirt, glitter—who put the glitter there!? Not to mention only one of the pups is nice enough to be cleaned without fuss, the others just want to play around or try to escape. Good luck.
4. Feeding. It's currently unknown what exactly the dogs like to eat, but so far they seem to favor fruits, flowers, and honey. Candies and anything sweet are their favorite treats, though is it really healthy for them?? As the puppies will tend to explore outside of their "zone," don't be surprised if they appear near other houses or even right in front of someone's face if they're eating something outside.
5. Playtime. Of course these pups will want to play! And after a few days of getting used to the newcomers, they will bond over and try to get anyone to join them to play. They also have toys in their little home for those who choose to visit instead. Maybe there are other ways they can be entertained, like playing with the new bug friends. Just watch out that they don't stray too far or get into trouble!
[That should cover the basics, the rest can be left up to the players, so have fun with it! Technically someone could adopt the dogs, but it would be preferred if they're just able to roam around and stay wherever to allow everyone an opportunity to "keep" or "foster" the dogs if they want. There will be plenty of chances for more doggos. And let's not hurt them, but should anyone try—Eustace will make good on his threat and unleash lightning on their ass. Questions can be asked here.]

Thanks. [A small nod as he just rubs the heads of the more obedient pups.] She's one of the more spirited ones...
[BARK BARK BARK. As if trying to prove his point, the pup stomps her paws and barks at him as if she had suffered the greatest offense in the world.]
no subject
[The alpha pup is offended to be ignored like this! She walks over and starts pawing at his boots, then tugs at his pant leg.]
no subject
It is, and not really what I intend to do... At the same time, trying to get them to focus separately has been just as difficult. The only silver lining is at least two of them are more willing to listen.
no subject
...I'm not an expert when it comes to caring for dogs, but would you like some assistance? [He walks over to look at the other three, still ignoring the aggressive one that loses her grip on his pant leg, only to run back and tug at it again.]
no subject
[A small half shrug.]
Whatever will make it easier to keep them in check while living in the community.
no subject
How about I keep watch while you train them? [He's eyeing the alpha pup now headbutting his leg. He sighs.] Do you want a treat? [Gasp! He's paying attention to her. She stops, looking up expectantly. Treat where?!]
Then listen to him. [He takes a step away, waiting for her to go join the other pups, but she just keeps watching him. Now she's growling, cause no treat! That only leads Kazuma to glare back, his arm's cross. This is going well.]
no subject
...I think you might have better luck with her. I haven't seen her focused on anyone as much yet, so might as well take advantage of it. She might actually listen.
no subject
Mind if I have a few treats then? [He's still glaring down at her.] I doubt she'll get any today, but we'll see. [She huffs at him. Seems she understands some things. Meaning Asogi isn't going to go easy on her, if she pretends not to know commands.]
no subject
Here.
[And he'll hand over a small bag of treats.]
Perhaps if you make it as a kind of a challenge you might be able to get through to her.
no subject
Well, I see you do know how to sit. [He's not giving her the treat though. Instead he'll look to Eustace.] Please continue. [He's got her for the time being. He just wants to see what she'll do while the other pups are being trained.]
no subject
He'll be practicing them getting to sit again before moving onto the lie down command, which is...mild success. The tend to drop their noses to sniff the treat when he brings it down, but they don't quite get into lying position...until the youngest brother finally plops down as if in defeat. Immediately the pup is praised and now there's competition between the two younger pups while the other pup watches...a little envious...
How's big sister over there?]
no subject
Eventually she barks and growls in frustration at him. That's when he pulls out a treat.]
Are you ready to listen? [She growls, and then proceeds to sit and look the other way.
It's going as one would expect with a stubborn puppy.] That one doesn't seem like you as much either. [He indicates the one pup that was jealously watching the two obedient one.]
no subject
[Just answers with nonchalance as he gives the two pups who do like him affectionate belly rubs because for some reason they decided to roll over. Not...what he wanted, but whatever. He's back to having them focusing on the treat to sit and then repeat the lie down command a few times.]
no subject
She's up with a start, looking around with confusion. No one said she can sleep while in the middle of a training session.]
no subject
[Not that he minds, though. It's probably for the best to have some reminder. Little does Eustace know the grudge is starting to turn into something else—]
no subject
no subject
...Hm.
[He frowns and steps over.]
I've seen something similar happen briefly whenever they play too roughly and accidentally hurt each other, but it usually doesn't last long. I assumed it's just another way of them to display their emotions.
She might be upset.
[Of course it's just a guess. The wilting flowers he's definitely seen in connection to them feeling sad or upset, but the thorns... ...That's a little new.]
no subject
So that's it. Get a little upset just because you're not getting what you want? [He wince when his hand slides over a hidden thorn. Evenso, he won't pull his hand back.]
A proud puppy like you to be defeated so easily. I know you can do better. [He doesn't even know if this puppy even understand everything he's saying, but he's going to lecture her anyway while petting her.]
no subject
She'll show you!!]
no subject
[Big sis tilts her head.] Try and catch it. [He tosses a small piece her direction. Without any inkling of that rebellious spirit, she immediately goes for the treat, catching it.] Hah, I guess she can be taught. [Eventhough fetch was probably not on the list of things to learn right now.]
no subject
...Hmmm.]
I wonder if she needs something more challenging to work her mind... Like an obstacle course through which she could begin listening to the commands.
[Make it more fun for her, maybe?]
no subject
Big sis pup is going to end up following after him, be it out of curiosity, he has the treats, or actually likes him. It's a mystery at the moment.]
no subject
[While looking after the other pups. He totally has this.
Totally.
Well he'll be able to be mildly successful. Whenever Kazuma comes back, Eustace will have managed to scrounge up a few extra boxes and crates that could be used as platforms or tunnels. He's also managed to clear some more of the area to get them more space. But then at some point two of the pups went off to play with the toys they passed by, and the fourth is just trailing after his heels, peeking out from behind whenever they come back.]
no subject
Looks like you've found plenty. [He notices the other pups playing with the toys. Big sis decides to finally return to the other siblings and start hogging all the toys. He sighs. They're exhausting to watch.] Think they'll be fine while we set up?
no subject
[Because puppies are like little kids who love to be nosy. But all right, let's make this thing!]
She can jump fairly high so a few high jumps and ramps would be good... Some tunnels and a makeshift slalom could also work...
[He may or may not be getting into it.]
