[In the days following the fight with the Story Eater, Ira might be a bit scarce. The toll of a massive fight is a heavy one, and it has been a long time since Ira has fought like that. The exhaustion of the exchange of blows combined with prolonged uses of magic requires a few days in bed to recover.

Or so Ira thinks.

Eventually there's a message in the journal.]

[Riku's still halfway bedridden, himself.]

I haven't quite gotten out of bed yet, but that should be a work in progress

me neither. it's kind of frustrating, actually -- i've never been this weak before.

Recovery is rarely a fun experience. It's certainly been a while since I've found myself like this.
