Who: Stolas and you!
Which: Open Log
Where: The little cabaret club in Reverein.
When: Back dated to when he puffed for his canon update three days later
What: Stolas returns back from disappearing to have a jolly ol' time back in Hell, only to puff right back in the middle of town looking like a cat chewed him up.
Warnings: Possible talk of death. And dad jokes

The day started out normal enough. Well, as 'normal' a dreamland could be after the most recent event that rocked Reverein that is. The town square was probable a buzz with native and dreamers alike as they went about to survey the damages the Stary Eater's chaos had brought. Though whatever powers were at play had another idea instore.

As if a new arrival was entering Reverein, though the timing was all wrong, a portal opened smack dab in the middle of The Square. Unceremoniously it dumped out one Ars Geotia out on his ass. The sudden drop got a shocked hoot from the massive owl as he crumpled to the cobblestone below and the gateway closed behind him, its job complete. Welp, not as graceful as the first time he arrived... Though Stolas had seen better days. The Goetic Prince had returned sporting injuries that he did not have when he disappear. He was covered in bandages with his left arm and right leg in a cast, making it impossible for him to stand. In fact, he was just laying there limp as a ragdoll as he stared up at the sky.

What the Hell was going on? Trying to make sense of what he had just experienced... It felt so real, going back home, no memory of this place... He would have chalked it all up to it being a vivid dream if his injuries didn't painfully throb. Yep... yep... it was real. It all happened. But why did this place send him away only to bring him back? Ugh... He would have to wait to address that later... First thing first, getting himself off the ground would be a good start.

Rolling over onto his side, Stolas called out for help. "E-excuse me, could you lend me a hand? Currently I have no leg to stand on."

"Okay, just, how, where do I grab, is it--" he kept pausing, hesitating, looking like a kid afraid of picking up a breaking object. Eventually the imp's hands find their way under Stolas and lift, scooping up the battered demon prince.

Assassinated... what the fuck. Who would try to assassinate Stolas here? He didn't see any weirdo holier-than-thou types around here. Or did he mean back in Hell? That couldn't be the case, that literally wasn't a thing, right?

At least Via and Akechi were going to be relieved. Well. Fuck. Not about the assassination thing. But that probably was less surprising?? But demon princes don't get hurt like this...
helluvaboss: (Shit fuck not HIM)

"Three days, the kids thought for sure you were awake for good... fuck," Blitzø cussed, both externally and internally, starting to slowly carry Stolas back home. Fuck, he hoped Stolas didn't feel him shaking. Why was he even shaking?? "She's gonna shit a brick when she sees you this fucked up, though. Assassination... fuck."
helluvaboss: (Shut up and go away)

"Fucking... cowboy friend... Striker? He tried to kill you again? Fuck. God damn it..."

His fault. His fault, his fault, all his fault. If he hadn't been staring at Loona like a dumbass and actually taken the shot at Striker, this wouldn't have happened. Fuck. How did he always fuck everything up?

He's quiet for way too long, and he doesn't realize at first that he stopped walking and just... stood there.

"...I'm fine," he said, untruthfully. But, look at Stolas - Blitzø was fucking fine. Stolas was being held together with fucking tape.

"Just... fuck. Angelic weapons, huh... fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I should've taken the shot on that fucker when I had it. This wouldn't have happened."

"...Yeah. Fucker like... stabbed Moxxie and Millie. I caught him takin' aim and about blew his head off. I should've fucking pulled the trigger," he murmured. "Instead of fucking... asking questions or whatever. That didn't fucking matter, I should've just shot the fucker dead."
helluvaboss: (Don't wake up)

"I already know I'm a lousy bodyguard," he muttered, not... feeling well enough to look into Stolas' face. Not to look at any of his injuries. Right, people were staring. He should get a move on.

"...I told... the kids that you probably kept dream journals or some shit. That we wouldn't get left behind," he added. Another fuck up. Another disaster. "Because of Akechi."
helluvaboss: (Fucked up)

"Course not... just, uh... means we gotta figure out how to bail Akechi outta here while we're here," he muttered. He could cling onto that hope for now, grasping at straws after the prior straws already shriveled up. "I was... I was here for them. So it's fine. I didn't fuck that up."

Though he was still shaken, and still shaking, he squeezed Stolas a tiny bit as the demon cuddled against him. He felt cold... he didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve any of this. Fuck... it was so hard to see him this hurt, and all because he didn't take anything seriously. No fucking way he took it seriously when he was awake, either.

"I have to remember."

When he wakes up, he had to remember. There was way, way too much to lose here.

"You can do it," he said quietly, almost inaudibly. Not because Stolas had to do it... but because he thought Stolas genuinely could figure it out.
