A stormy evening gives way to quiet dawn. To say the past week has been chaotic would be an understatement; strange distortions remain present in Reverein even now, causing monster attacks and disorienting illusions. The morning is quiet at first, with two longtime citizens of Reverein disappearing quietly from their home. They appear near the edge of the town, encased in two large crystals, still seemingly fast asleep. These crystals are visible for all to see, but those who dare to approach will find strange versions of Link and Zelda standing guard, unwilling to let anyone pass.

In fact, rather than let you pass, and risk waking the sleeping souls, they stand their ground, brandishing weapons and magic, prepared to fight.

[The version of Link that stands before the Hero of Time seems to have had all the color leeched from him, standing in stark—and perhaps slightly familiar—black and white. All but his eyes, which glow a dim red.

Mirrorblight Link wields a sword almost identical to the Master Sword, the real version of which is encased in crystal behind him, along with its owner. The Blight stands between Link and said crystal, brandishing his sword. The moment Link gets too close, he leaps forward, making the first strike.]

EARTHBLIGHT: for oathkeeper

[Sora finds himself face-to-face with someone who looks like a friend—sort of. Perhaps this is the corruption that Link talked about—the effect of the Malice. Earthblight Link stands between Sora and the crystal where Link appears to be sleeping, and holds a two-handed sword in a defensive stance.

As soon as Sora approaches, the Blight swings his mighty sword. He's not aiming it directly at the keyblade wielder, though: he strikes the ground in front of him, shaking the ground and creating a fissure where the earth itself splits in two.]

SHIELDBLIGHT: for stillarhino

[The Blight that stands in front of Beat seems to have been corrupted by malice, and rather than the Master Sword, wields a long trident-like spear in both hands. Shieldblight Link seems to be standing guard, trying to keep anyone away from the crystal that seemingly holds the real Link.

He exhibits no reluctance in the fight to come. As Beat approaches, he holds out the trident, and a shimmering transparent wall appears in front of him. Ah, seems this Blight can create a shield. Wonder what it'd take to break it.]

PUPPETBLIGHT - for sagesurvivor

[ The Blight that stands before Sheik looks like what he feared Zelda to be when they first met—a puppet of Ganon, looking eerily identical to the princess.

The Blight's black hands begin to glow red as it calls on the power of Ganon's hate, a recognizable perversion of the princess's sealing power. It is preparing to use that mimicked sealing power to bind Sheik in place. ]

DRAGONBLIGHT - for lonelysmiles

[ Instead of a corrupted image of Zelda, there is a dragon, its long body coiling around the crystal encasing the slumbering princess. Long has Naydra been the guardian of wisdom, and even with the corruption of the Malice, it clings fervently to its duty.

Dragonblight watches Alastor with suspicion, its many eyes following his every move. The dragon (a relatively smaller version of its Hyrulean counterpart) looks ill, its strength sapped by Malice, but even an injured animal is still incredibly dangerous. ]

LIGHTBLIGHT - for luciing

[ The Blight that stands before Somnus looks like what Zelda feared would happen to her when they first met—infected by Malice that seeped into the dream world through her.

There is a large puddle of Malice at the Blight's feet, spreading out in every direction. It has already grown up around the crystal holding the slumbering princess and it is making its way towards Somnus with the intent to snare him as well. ]
