A stormy evening gives way to quiet dawn. To say the past week has been chaotic would be an understatement; strange distortions remain present in Reverein even now, causing monster attacks and disorienting illusions. The morning is quiet at first, with two longtime citizens of Reverein disappearing quietly from their home. They appear near the edge of the town, encased in two large crystals, still seemingly fast asleep. These crystals are visible for all to see, but those who dare to approach will find strange versions of Link and Zelda standing guard, unwilling to let anyone pass.

In fact, rather than let you pass, and risk waking the sleeping souls, they stand their ground, brandishing weapons and magic, prepared to fight.

[When Link told him about the malice jelly Sora knew that he should take it seriously. He didn't think it was going to be this bad at the time. But now, as he's faced with the strange copy of his friend he knows he should have taken it way more seriously.]

Link?!

[Sora's keyblade appears in his hand right as the earthblight creature slams its weapon into the ground. Sora stumbles and hops backwards awkwardly, just missing a powerful fissure that cuts up the side of his cheek. He stumbles backwards and grits his teeth. He holds his weapon in preparation for a fight.]

What's going on?! What's happening to Link?!

[Earthblight Link seems deeply uninterested in talking; instead, the glowing yellow eyes littering his body all seem to focus in on the weapon in Sora's hand. He may not be fast, but he is powerful, footsteps shaking the ground as he slowly makes his way closer. He lifts the heavy claymore in his hands, and-- slam! it hits the ground once again. This time, rather than a fissure, it causes rocks to rise up from the ground in a column, aiming to put Sora off-balance.]

[All those yellow eyes are really freaky. Sora doesn't like them one bit. He readies himself for an imminent attack, steeling his resolve to counter with all his strength. However, just as he prepares to engage, the sudden eruption of a rock column catches him off guard.

With quick reflexes, Sora manages to evade the devastating blow, but the force of the impact sends him flying backward, crashing onto the ground a few paces away. He grunts in pain as he hits the surface, feeling the jolt reverberate through his body. Despite the setback, Sora quickly pushes himself up, his determination unwavering. He has to get to the real Link!]

Hgn?!

[Alright- if that's going to be the game? Sora suddenly points his keyblade at Earthblight Link and casts an explosion of fire.]
