[It's hot. There's more to the day, yes, but it's hot. That's all Wanderer really cares about, especially since it's so hot his flying kitten is still asleep in his house and not perched on his hat.

Wanderer really, really hates the heat. He hates the cold too, but for some reason the heat is making him cranky. Why couldn't his creator have thought to put in a cooling system of some sort? No, he doesn't want to sweat, but it would be nice to be able to be cool in this gross heat!

He's sitting under a tree by the lake, trying to cool off and debating if he really wants to stick his feet in the lake. It's tempting.]

[Wanderer looks around and his hands twitch. He wants to clean this up. Why are you like this, Heizou.]

Hmm, strange. I don't see a bed.

[Heizou chuckles a little, moving to grab some of the books in the kitchen and checking them - just to make sure they're ones he's still going to continue reading later, not because he feels any need to put them away.]

It's there by the windows! [He gestures vaguely in that direction. Over there.] I do sleep, you know.

Are you sure? All I see is books.

[His laughter takes a turn for the more genuine, giving Wanderer a little pat on the shoulder as he walks past him and toward the nearest shelf.]

You really should think about taking up comedy.

[Heizou likes this side of him. He likes this sense of humor. It's fun!]

I told you I like to read, didn't I?

[Another chuckle while he starts perusing his shelves for something good to lend to the Wanderer.]

My sleep is perfectly fine, thank you very much! There's nothing better than falling asleep while reading a good book, you know. It often gives you such interesting dreams.
