For everyone - The Open Prompt!

[ It doesn't really matter what brings you here, but something does, either way. Be it a trip between regions, the urge to explore, caught off guard by a wild spider monkey and chased down. Either way, along your travel you spot a peculiar sight. What appears to be... a tent? And several perfectly shaped circle slab seats around. Even more peculiar, there seems to be a young girl just... laying back against a stone arch like it's a hammock, sipping from a thin metal cup. Her eyes are closed, and her head doesn't turn as you approach. (Or perhaps you don't approach, either way, she calls out) ]

Hey! Are you lost?

[ So helpful. ]

For Najaran

[ Huh, another person way out here? It's not what she's expecting. A familiar figure is close by, and by the feel of it, not doing too hot. Toph's comfortable in her campsite, but she reaches out and slams an arm down, shooting small stone markers up to help guide Najaran towards her from a (surprising) distance. Slightly smug smile on her lips. ]

For Iroh

[ The noise comes expected, perhaps. There's a short shadow by the door and a quiet. Knock, knock, knock.]

Wildcard

[ You know the drill! Poke me on hantale or Hantale on discord, or DM here if you want to plan something. Otherwise, this is the catch-all for silly scenarios, memes, or whatever else you might want to throw at her.

For the sake of planning, assume she's travelling around a lot and sorting out her own food, often camping somewhere or relaxing in a calm area. Maybe helping locals repair structures. ]

[ Crow had just noticed the tent and all of that, as well as the girl when eyes closed she seems to catch him even though he's not even walked up to her yet. He was going to say hi... ]

Sounds kinda like you're lost to me.

There's a difference between being lost and being aimless.

[ Crow counters with a smile, glancing at her and he moves closer now. ]

Are you some kind of guide for the lost?

[toph_luck]

You can know where you are and still be lost~

[ She chimes right back, shrugging afterward and finally turning to sit up properly. ]

Hardly. I was just going to tell you to avoid going that way- [ Her hand lifts to point one direction. ] There's some snake dogs up there that I think are waiting for someone to bite!

I suppose that’s true.

[ Crow stops short at her warning, his eyes going wide. ]

Wow! Seriously? I guess I’m definitely not going that way...

Mhm, smart choice. You can take a seat if you want.

[ She's just hanging out there, after all, the sun's on it's way down and cooler air is beginning to settle in. Even toph can tell it's time to start packing down for now. This spot seemed good. ]

[ Crow does take a seat, glancing around again. ]

I've never really been in a place like this before.

Better get used to it. We're kinda stuck around this boring town until SOMETHING happens, I think.

[ She's only been here what, two weeks? And she feels like she knows a lot. ]

Something like what, huh?

[ Crow leans forward his elbows on his thighs as he glances at the girl and then around once more. ]

How old are you?

[toph_luck]

I dunno. just... something. Interesting maybe.

[ She shrugs. Never quite looking his way. ]

Uh... Like, 13? I think. Why? What about you?

[kaakaa]

Like 13? You mean you don't know?

[ Not that that's completely uncommon in the satellite either. ]

I'm 19.

[toph_luck]

Yeah? It doesn't really matter that much. I think. You just get older.

[ She shrugs. ]

Why did you want to know, anyway?

[kaakaa]

I guess that's true but birthdays are kind of fun, you know.

[ Not that Crow's ever done anything super amazing but it was still kind of a special day in his opinion. ]

I was just curious. You seem kind of young to be out here by yourself.

[ In other words, he needs to adopt you. ]

[toph_luck]

Some kind of party event? I'll pass.

[ She's not huge on crowds anyway. Or at least that's what she tells herself. Her tone does get a bit of challenge to it though. ]

Lots of people travel around at my age! [ Kindof, only slightly a lie. ] What's wrong with me doing it?

[kaakaa]

It could be with just a small group of people you like, though. Always kind of fun and special foods and all that...

[ Crow raises a brow and there's a friendly laugh as he stretches out his legs some. ]

I don't mean anything by it just... wouldn't you rather not be alone?

[toph_luck]

It'd be too small. I only know like two people here that well! And I don't want to make it a thing.

[ She puffs, blowing the hair from her face. ]

I like being alone. Sometimes. And I'm not right now, am I?

[kaakaa]

Okay okay.

[ Crow does generally know when to back off -- at least better than Jack does most of the time. ]

I guess not. Did we even get each other's names...? I'm Crow.

[toph_luck]

We didn't.

[ She winds back, giving his shoulder a light punch. ]

I'm Toph. Nice to meet 'ya.

[kaakaa]

Nice to meet you too, Toph.

[ He rubs his shoulder after the light punch, laughter lingering. ]

What was that for, though?

[toph_luck]

That's my way of being friendly. Consider it a gift.

[ Yup, punching is like the highest honor, or something like that. ]

So, where were we again? Right, are you going to head back into one of the cities?

[kaakaa]

ALright. I'm used to that kinda friendship.

[ Crow grins but he doesn't hit back, she's much younger and than he is and that's more of a reason not to than the fact she's blind or a girl in his books. She's pretty capable after all. ]

Thinking about it but now I'm not sure what I'd end up running into. Are you going anywhere soon?

Good.

[ Little does he know it's actually just saved him from being swept off his feet and toppled. ]

Wasn't planning on it. I've got this camp all set up. Though I do need to go get some food soon. Unless you've got some on you?

I don’t have any but we could get some together, if you don’t mind company sticking around.

[ He kind of feels a bit of home being around a kid and he’s not in any hurry to move on. ]

[ Toph can occasionally be of use. She does like to help people. ]

I guess you can. You seem like okay company.

What are you thinking. Meat? Plants?
