It’s entirely possible that Gen is busy and so Senku is the one behind the counter. He’s fussing with something and he glances up when someone comes in.

“Welcome to Creamistry.” He murmurs a little bit. He washes his hands and towels them off.

He’s in the middle of making little animals out of sugar.

Senku comes to the counter. “What can I get for you?”

Challenge

Perhaps instead they’re interested in answering the ad that Senku put up on the board.

He gets a devious grin. “You want to help me figure out my challenge? By all means.”

Senku has a knack for looking downright evil.

“You have a preference for flavour, or do you want me to decide?”

Huh, sea salt... I'll try it.

[he's not sure how he feels about salty ice cream... but he did say it was blue.]

[ Senku moves to the case and grabs a cone before piling two scoops of sea salt ice cream. It's sweet with a hint of saltiness, which he's hoping is the right balance.

He comes back and offers it to Percy. ]

Hang tight, I'll make you a soda while you eat that.

[he takes a lick of it, and considers for a minute as he nods.

huh.]

Sweet and salty...

[he takes another lick as he waits for Senku to come back.]

Not bad.

[ It doesn't take too long, he has the ingredients he needs to make it a bit of a short cut to make a blue raspberry soda, but it's all done with natural ingredients, save the blue dye.

He brings the syrup back out and pours some into a glass before adding some carbonated water. A little swirl and he brings it over. ]

Give this a try and tell me what you think. [ It's definitely blue. ]

and he takes a drink of it, and grins.]

Yeah, that hits the spot.

If it's that good, I don't mind putting it on the menu.

[ He grins, at least he seems to like it. Blue seems like an odd request, but he loves that kind of thing. ]

You guys can make some good stuff here... keeps me from trying to figure out how to cook for myself.

Not to worry. Now that I know you want it, I'll keep the syrup in stock and I can whip it up anytime. [ It's a very easy compromise. ]

Yes. I'd say my specialty is ramen, but if we keep it up it's going to become ice cream.

[he considers the ramen for a minute, putting a hand on his chin.]

You're not talking the microwavable stuff that college kids and broke people eat, right? Like... actual ramen?

That's correct, the real thing. I haven't had the microwavable stuff in forever. I make the noodles from scratch too.

[ Force of habit, really. ]

Oh man, then I gotta try it sometime too!

[he grins, and then nods.]

Might have to end up being a regular at this place, if I like your ramen.

[ Senku laughs. ]

I wasn't planning on serving ramen here, but I can definitely give it a try next month.

Then I'll definitely be back. Can I have some stuff to go?

Sure, sure. What do you want?

[ He'll happily set Percy up, hopefully he'll come back. ]

Ice cream and drink to go, please!

[ It doesn't take more than a minute for Senku to scoop ice cream in a to go cup and prepare a soda with ice for him and present both to Percy.

He might be pleasantly surprised to find the ice cream cup doesn't feel very cold, and his ice cream will stay frozen for a good 30 minutes. Just a little thing he invented to pass the time. ]
